First of all, techsupport, if you even once went to the WNTK website, or knew anything about anything, you would know that Konrad is spelled with a "K", and marshmallow has an "a". I cant believe you are acting all in the know, and admitting you havent even listened to these new morons.
I do, however, agree with Jimc, konrad did let Brian run things too much, which made Brian's views the tone for the whole show. Konrad should have been more assertive with his own opinions, instead of taking the back seat as much as he did, to someone like Brian. He did speak up on occasion, which tells me that his opinions were not the same as Brian's, at least on those occasions. Hearing him in a more aggresive fashion, much more often, probably would have put a bit better spin on things. Whatshername is definitely just NOT a broadcaster.
I definitely liked (past tense, and yes I have listened to the new one) the show, and know of plenty of people who did also, not to mention all the regulars who stayed faithful in calling in even after George left, and dont believe that things changed because of "all the complaints".
If what nhradio says, and Brian didnt get fired, that just further proves what I assumed in an earlier post, that Mr. Vinikoor likes the hotheaded, narcissistic, loud mouths, and doesnt care if they make jackasses of themselves or the station. George was that way, Brian, to a more entertaining degree, and Dorien is also. I am not sure, however, why someone who brags about being the first WNTK Morning show host, and complains about the equipment being the same, has been in radio for as long as Dorien, and claims to be "the man" would need a course, crash or not, in anything, much less a little radio equipment.
