New Jack Ditties?

How about some new discussion on Jack-FM? Why is 104.3 here not doing as well as some of the other Jacks. Seattle's Jack was huge, tying the #1 25-54 station in that market in only its 2nd trend. Why not here? Does someone else (Drive?) really have that variety/depth image all locked up? Get your hand out of the other board's cookie jar and come here for some better conversation.

It's too early to tell how the Chicago Jack is going to do. They were still oldies for most of the Spring book.

Summer P1's will be the speculation on how well Jack-FM will do. I knew that the summer books would be the speculation simply because June 3 was the day the station flipped, and was after the P2 releases, if my memory is correct on that one. So oldies is the overall ratings for Spring.

I'll admit I am not a fan....

but DAMN

It hasn't been on long enough to know anything....I will be curious about the Summer numbers....more interested in seeing the fall book though

I remember hearing a phrase once

"You can never reach higher than your first book in a format"

That sounds really bad....but I'll be if it doesn't seem to hold true for format switches I've watched in the last 5-10 years!

So wonder what they can grab?

Indy might be another JACK to watch....saw a slide in their last book- but again...they weren't in format long and might have still been leveling from playing Christmas tunes....
