New JACK-FM (in Canada)

Regina, SK is the newest market to get a JACK-FM station, with Rock 94 (CKCK) flipping from classic rock to Jack yesterday. This is the first Variety Hits station for the providence of Saskatchewan, but also this is (to my knowledge) the first JACK-FM station in Canada that's on a non-Rogers Communications owned station (it's owned by Rawlco Communications, Ltd., according to what I've read). It's also the first JACK-FM station to launch in Canada since February 2004.<P ID="signature">______________

It sounds good. But I get the feeling that the folks at Z99 are not going to like this one moving into their territory.

BTW here's the website www.jackfmregina.com

I don't think Z99 is going to worry too much since Jack lives under the same roof as them...

...from listening to the station, it sounds more like a Wolf tamer than a Zed killer. Very rock skewed... from Elvis to Green Day and everything in between.
