New Jersey 101.5 echoplex

On tuesday I went to Nj to seek out a prospect. While I was there I tuned in new jersey 101.5's mid day show, Dennis & Judy. I have never a crappy production job like this. It's a call in show and the two personalities babble about this, that and the other thing. What caught my ear was the hollow, tinny "Voice of god" reverb sound they used. Doesn't the station know how bad it's studio mics sound??

what do you expect from a station who felt that don tandler's time machine countdown show on saturday nights is for "radio geeks"!!! new jersey 101.5 is a crap-o-plex.sorry eric.............

Gee, I actually like the reverb. It makes the callers sound better, and
it sort of ties together the announcers and the callers, by making them sound similar to each other.

And a BIG personality like Big Joe Henry needs a BIG reverb. It's a nice retro touch.
