New Jersey, you now have another choice for hip hop!

Streetz 96 is back and stronger than ever!
I can hear this pirate station interfering with Wired 96.5 as far south as North Brunswick. In Edison and north of there, there was almost no trace of Wired 96.5. Before, I could only hear it well up to Rahway, but it now covers about 10 more miles. This just goes to show that FCC fines do nothing to pirate stations, I doubt Streetz 96 even paid the fine at all. I didn't hear it for a few months, so I thought it got busted. But it turns out they upgraded their transmitter. Maybe they needed to boost their power because X96.3 has a higher average modulation than WQXR.

I don't own any pirate stations, it was a sarcastic post. And if you know me well you'd know my favorite format is dance and I am not too fond of hip hop.

This makes no sense.

How do you know how "streetz" is spelled, if you didn't have some inside information?

The way I see it from 1200 miles away, you are either making it up, or you are an accomplice to, what is probably, a felony.

Streetz96.com Jersey's #1 "ONLINE" for hip-hop and R&B. So, they stream 24/7 online but broadcast from the top of some apartment complex in East Orange, or wherever they are now during the evening/late night hours.

Something called the Internet and the fact that this pirate station has been on for years. Go ahead and report it to the FCC, I have reported it several times to no avail. I want that station shut down for good.

The website may say it's online but it most certainly would not have so many listeners as an Internet only station. I've heard it with my own ears.

It didn't work with Firefox, but came right up in Internet Explorer.
The lead in ad for GlobeTeck sounded fine, but the actual
station audio had a strange ticking sound and was unlistenable.
