SportsBeat AM is on the air at KBME (790 AM) with Brad Davies and Carl Dukes behind the microphones. My initial impression is that they bring ample energy, enthusiasm and volume to their task and that their show will be sufficiently different in tone and format from the KILT (610 AM) morning show that listeners will have a clear choice.
Two quibbles, though: I question whether enough people will be sufficiently awake early in the morning to grasp the nuances of their daily Two-Minute Drill game. I listened to a replay of one show in the middle of the afternoon, and I had trouble grasping the rules.
