New KLOK (1988) airchecks - thanks Mike Schweizer!

For all of you KLOK fans...Just stumbled upon a few hours from 8/9/88 - the KLOK AC to Spanish transition at the late Mike Schweizer's aircheck archive (along with the previously posted checks from 8/5/88 and 8/8/88). Sad to see him go - but I know I would have missed many memories if it weren't for his great work.

Just for point of information, KLOK was multilingual prior to its transition in 1967 or whenever to English language MOR. I still have voices in my head such as Joaquin Esteeves doing the Portuguese news at noon, and Polka Party sponsored by a German travel agency, etc.

I've got old reel-to-reels somewhere with a jingle "The New Clock" K-L-O-K, with a metronome in the background. I believe the years were 1966-67'... I loved the oldies on KLOK/1170 & later on sister station KWIZ/1480 in Santa Ana (So.Cal).
