I signed up for the transmitter updates through the nbc11.com website and got an email last week stating that they would do tests at the new Mt San Bruno Transmitter. And, just earlier today got this email (I just checked it w/my rabbit ears, and its my clearest channel which makes sense since I'm in Daly City and can see Mt. San Bruno from here):

One final note to those of you who have signed up to receive information about NBC11's broadcast signal:
At 12:35am tomorrow morning (right after tonight's edition of The Tonight Show With Jay Leno) we will switch on our San Bruno transmitter and retire our Loma Prieta site. With this change, we expect to restore over-the-air NBC service to thousands of Bay Area viewers.
For the vast majority of viewers, there will be no need to do anything special to receive our signal. It will come in on the same antenna as the other area stations. For viewers who have installed special reception equipment or who have complex receivers, some one-time-only adjustments may be required. By morning we will post some basic troubleshooting tips on our web site (www.nbc11.com) to help people who are having difficulty receiving the new signal.
Of course, you should also feel free to let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
Thank you again for your patience over the past few years.
