new KTAR signage doesn't match programming... at all

"Arrive to work informed?" Well, gee, setting aside how similar it looks to KJZZ's signage not too long ago, I can't exactly say I feel any more informed listening to KTAR morning news when a majority of it is entertainment news about the Kardashians and non-news stories about potential job stories ("Main Street"? What, did the "Road to Recovery" naming rights go out the window with prior sponsor?) Not to mention they yanked the Sunday simulcast of Meet The Press, so good luck getting 'informed' on Sunday. I just don't know how much lower the bar can get over at 92.3....I would bet money you'll see brokered airtime weekdays before too long.

They spent a lot of money for 92.3 and need it to get younger. It's definitely not WTOP. Honestly, when I listen, I don't find them to be really news topical all that much ... The other challenge now is all the revenue they blew up on 98.7. They need to make it up somehow. You have to wonder at what point 620 will possibly become ESPN and the FM devoted to AZ Sports.
