Or has it just been that long since I watched CBS-11 news? I noticed Friday night (maybe Thursday night) that Larry Mowry was being referred to as "Chief Meteorologist." Kristine Kahanek had always had that title (now it appears from her station bio that she is just "meteorologist"). Is that old news that I've missed (I don't watch KTVT that often) or is that a recent change?
BTW, what does a chief meteorologist do that the other staff meteorologists/weather readers don't? Do Mowry, Delkus, Finfrock and Henry have any added responsibilities? Or is "chief" just what we call the dude or dudette that fills the 10 p.m. wx slot? Always been curious about that.
