VIBE109

VIBE 109 is an L.A.-based and internet music station targeting Generations X and Y with urban/rhythmic songs from the 80s, 90s, 00s, and today. Check it out at www.vibe109.com and I welcome your comments on how this and other "internet radio" fits into the broader radio landscape. Thank you.
 
Because there aren't already enough hit radio stations on the FM dial, we need some more on the internet?
Do it for fun if you enjoy it.
 
There's a new internet based station coming on line daily, or maybe even more frequently than that. I know several people operating their own stations now. Few make any cash that way. Right now, it's just something people do, and with so many doing it the odds that any will do well enough to make any money are slim. But hey, more power to you if you can make it work, for most it's just a hobby...
 
Is there a direct MP3 or win Media stream so I can connect on my portable internet radio? If so, what is it? I would like to see what vibe 109 sounds like. 8)
 
XMportable, there's a link for Mobile Streaming on the home page of the site. Note that Monday through Thursday we broadcast 8am to 2am (next day) PST. That might change as demand/feedback dictates.
