New Lehigh Valley Morning Show ... Chance & Dawn

i am on WXLV's mailing list. today came an announcement that beginning monday, chance and dawn in the morning begin on WXLV, bringing radio back to the way it was when radio was fun with music, news, traffic, weather, giveaways, etc.

it also mentions the LMA agreement with WDIY is set to expire and the simulcasts during the drives are ending, thus the reasoning behind the new morning show. you know, i have to give WXLV credit. great, artsy, cultural format, very professionally done, a far cry from the mess WXLV used to be. Burr Beard and company really cleaned house and turned it into a respectable operation. i hear WXLV on in a lot of coffee houses, cyber cafe's, and museums in the area.

i'm looking forward to another option for morning shows in the area.
 
Yup! WXLV has come around. I remember in the 90's when I was a student there standing in the studio with a guy who told me that the new Europe album was good and Nirvana ruined it for the great hair metal bands. I could not hold in my disdain for such a ludicrous comment. I gave him my choice opinion, walked out, and never set foot in that studio nor spoke to the neanderthals who used to run it again. Burr has done a great job getting rid of those caveman and bringing class to WXLV.
 
everywhere i have gone so far today, people are talking in stores, on the street, in offices, etc. about the new 'XLV morning show. this show is going to take the valley by storm. talk about whatever the morning show of the week on 'LEV or the Hawk is all you want, but chance and dawn is the best morning show in the valley!
 
I hate to say this but anyone who discusses morning shows in 2008 is not with it.
