I just visited Magic's webpage and Uncle Rich is back! Uncle Rich and Benji are jumping from mornings on AM 720 to Magic mornings. I think this morning show will definately work seeing these two work so well with each. Heather is moving to the 10-3 time slot, but Drew and Johnny C are not listed on the jocks page. Chris is going to be on the 3-7 slot. the new morning show, Heather on Middays and Chris on afternoons....this is the line up magice needed. these guys are soild broadcast veterans and everyone knows them. This line up is can not be beat. This one will stay for a while and doesn;t need to be tampered with in the future.
When I saw that Uncle rich and Benji were on Magic, I figured they were going to be piped from 720 or a new show was going to be airing in thier place. However, all the weekday shows that are listed on 720 the Voice are all synidcated shows like it was before the start of 2004, before Pedicino placed live and local shows on the air. Kurt Synder isn't listed and niether is 85 South, the weekday show or the Saturday show. Kurt was very entertaining both as a guest and host. The only shows that are live are on Saturdays. patrick Terril brought alot of older stars on 85 south, which gave a great spin and flavor to local radio. I hope Jackie is still there and back in news department. He's always done an excellent job of reporting the news.

Does nyone know where Pedicino went to..has he fully retired or waiting for a comeback?

I've been wondering, too, what's become of Pedicino.
Do you really think Chris in the afternoons is a step up from Drew? If, in fact, Drew is gone, then this will make the second time he was bounced from the station.

I can appreciate your point, but my wife and kids can't listen to 98.1 on the way to school anymore. At least not until those two realize they aren't doing all adult themed talk radio. I mean today they hardly played music. It was song talk song talk song talk talk talk talk talk talk. A lot of what they talked about was nothing that interested me.What are they thinking? I use to listen to them on the AM station and liked having them over there where I could get enough and switch to music with Heahter. Speaking of her, she sounds happy with the 10am job. I called her on break and talked to her on the air today. I told her that I'm not happy because I am at work by then and can't really hear her up in our building. Who knows what they are thinking at that place. Chris does an ok job. I listened to him today on the way home. Anybody got a contact? I'd like to vent to "the person in charge" and let them know I'm searching for a new station in the mornings.

Wasn't my fault this time! I got "downsized" when Jim Martin, the Columbus-Newnan GM, handed down the new budget. I have the full support of the staff in pursuit of other opportunities. E-mail me if you want more info.

The top dog would be the Columbus Manager. I will say that if Pedicino were still in charge, 720 would not be all synidicated. Grant it....Pedicino would change every few months, but it would remained live and local. I know alot of people depended on that station for local programming. What happened to Johnny C? Has anyone thought about bringing Tom Cooper, John Scott, Rut (Uncle Rich's first producer) or Josh, the guy who produced for John Scott. The void left by John Scott could be not be replaced. In fact he's be good in the afternoon slot and Chris could go back to mornings on WCOH.
