New liners on Mix969

I've noticed over the last couple of weeks that Mix is running new liners and now promotes themselves as playing 9 songs in a row.

Any one else have info or thoughts on this?

I noticed the new liners, too. Reminds me of the late 80's when the "x-number of songs in a row" was a big thing. Personally, I like it. I've never counted the number of songs they played in the past. It could very well that they really haven't changed a thing, but it's good marketing. Keeps people tuned in longer, in my opinion.

Oh, and Chris Parker joins Good Morning Arizona on 3TV, the place with more silicone. ;D

That does bring back memories of those "countdown for cash" games that were big on CHR in the late 80s.

Come to think of it, KMLE did their 10-song-in-a-row guarantee several years ago and if you caught them playing fewer than 10 songs, you won $10k.

Don't forget the "We won't repeat a song during the work day."

I'd like to forget the "We play Brown Eyed Girl four times a day...every day" ;)
liner from the station whose morning show I no longer listen to.
