New lineup at Z93! (entertainment purposes only)

Mornings - Jimmy and Eric - Jimmy Baron / Eric Haessler / Tim Andrews
Mike Wheeler was a fan of Erics' - I think this show has potential plus I think they could still play 5 songs an hour like the first few years of the Regular Guys.

Middays - Mara Davis - a little chatty but is likeable

Afternoons - Katey Kiley - Katey never had that "It" personality but her voice
is like a knife going through warm butter - smooth. Listeners love her and she knows the music.

Nights - Not sure what you do with nights. I don't think the older vets would want this day part because the money is traditionally not the best. So who could do it? Maybe voice track it?

Ayo?
Willard?
Rhodes?
Mr. Bill?

I'm with you on Murray. His show was unique. Where else could you hear Pere Ubu's 30 Seconds Over Toyko?

AND the best promo spot, ever. Too much of the Birdman...

Mornings: Southside Steve & Vikki (Stunt Guy: Tom Hughes)
Middays: Mr. Bill & Mara
Afternoons: Michelle Engle's iPod
PM Drive: BC, Bubba, Cousin Deke, Dump Truck, Dick & Justice, Ditch, Rude, Willard, Tim Rhodes, Bob Bailey, Barnes, Critic, Radio Boy, Tim Andrews, English Nick, Dunham, Monte, Fat Kid, Wally, Larry & Eric, Tom (of Bob & Tom), Todd Schnitt, MJ, Woody, Scott Ferrell and that gay Bob guy from the 90s.
Overnights: "Zappy," Your Overnight Radio Robot

Fill-In: Gene & Julie

Sounds like another case of "musical-jocks" - one thing you can say about the Atlanta market, our jocks are
well cycled! Okay, serious question: In Atlanta we seem to have a hand-full of jocks who have been station
hopping in this market for over 20 years. Why do stations keeping hiring these folks, many of whom are burned out, and besides much of the younger demo could care less about these "old geezers". Secondly,
why don't these folks try other markets? Atlanta ain't the only city doing radio. Thirdly, why would a station pick-up a jock who has seen his/her better days? Name recognition won't work forever...example...Moby
who went from KHX to Z93....look what it did for Z. I rest my case!

Packing up and moving to a new city ain't that much fun when you've got a family to consider. I only know of a few jocks that have made the switch to new stations though...

1. Moby - Never listened to him. Dumb move by CBS hiring him though. Who couldn't see that was a bad fit?

2. Rude - great rock jock. Guy who was getting a little stale at 96 but still had good ratings and brought in revenue.
Don't like him doing sports but he's adapted well. Clients like him.

3. Southside Steve - Shouldn't have been let go from 96. His perceptuals were off the charts and his afternoon ratings were strong when fired. Plus he's good with clients. Not the best fit with Rhubarb though.

4. Barnes - He was a shinning star in PMD at 99x back in the day but wasn't very beloved when he quit 99x. Another dumb move on DaveFm's part building a morning show around him.

5. Ryan Cameron - Radio one couldn't afford him anymore. Smart move by V.

Who else in the last 10 years?

Katey did well at Z after leaving 96rock
Willard had a decent run
