New lineup for Mix 96

I don't really listen to Mix 96.5 nor Hot 95.7, so excuse my ignorance but is there much difference between the two?

One is CHR, the other is Hot AC. The differences are principally in the percentage of currents and, with the CHR (Hot) playing more currents per hour in slightly faster rotations (120 spins a week on the top songs on Hit vs. 90 for Mix) while the Hot AC (Mix) playing a bit more gold. Hot will play Flo Rida, Mix won't.

In fact, some industry sources call Hit "Adult CHR" which is right between being a traditional CHR and Hot AC.

Together, they are covering 18-44 women quite well with Hot doing best in 18-34 women and Mix in 25-49 women.

Mix is closer to rock, I think.
It's office music while Hot is party music, if that makes more sense. LOL
