New local morning show on KDUS

Well, it's not really new - they were previously on KAZG in the afternoons (and before that, KXAM). The old "Bandwagon" show, now called "Drew and Jordan" have taken the 7-10 am slot on KDUS.

A welcome alternative to Doug & Wolf...that is when they talk sports.

What the hell is KDUS?

You're not the only one. I just found out they've been on the station for over a month already (that's how much I pay attention to them). But if you weren't saying that in jest, they're the third sports-talk station in Phoenix at 1060 AM.

More local shows than XTRA, but quantity doesn't always mean quality.

Arnie Spanier snuck out the back door and high-tailed it to Dallas after about a month.

No it isn't. It's pretty bad. Makes Doug & Wolf sound like consummate professionals.

After KDUS lost the Cards & Coyotes, their reason to exist became zero. Gumpdusky should just give it up and run SNR fulltime on 1060 or move the 1440 oldies there (sans lamptimer, of course). Kevin McCabe is a good guy and was a good sports anchor at Channel 10, but as a talk show host, he's lacking. Too laid-back - just not enough "oomph" there. Bob Kemp is the best of the bunch - I'd love to see him at KTAR middays instead of Colin Cowherd.

They have potential, they just need some nurturing. Still better than the three hour infomercial for Right Toyota on the station in the afternoons.

Just be glad that Roy Garibaldi isn't back on the air in the Valley (yet).

If Bickley & MJ got a better deal elsewhere than they have at XTRA, then XTRA wouldn't have a reason to exist anymore. They just don't want to invest in more local talent (Vince Marotta is still available). The good syndicated product (in particular, Dan Patrick and Jim Rome) could always find a new home.

Oops...my bad again...Garibaldi is back on the air, but relegated to the "Lumberyard."

As long as Jim Rome is doing his show, all Clear Channel sports stations will have a reason to exist. Bickley & MJ are just an excuse to say that they have local programming. CC-owned XTRA 910 is there to carry CC-owned "Fox" Sports Radio and CC-syndicated Rome. It has little else going for it.

I'd love to see Bickley and MJ (OK, without Bickley - how about Vince Marotta and MJ or even Bruce Jacobs & MJ?) as the morning guys on KTAR, but as long as TMISU hold the rights to the Cards, they'll keep Ron Wolfley where he is. Doug Franz is expendable.

Don't forget about the Coyotes on 910. Hockey in the desert has to bring in massive ratings for our friends at Clear Channel!

Aren't Garibaldi & Amanda Jahn on 1440 am in the morning?
That's what his website says...

http://www.positiveside.tv/

And soon to be on Fox 10...YIKES!!! ::)

Soon to rival "The Home Hunter" in producer-paid shows that try to look legitimate, but end up still looking and feeling producer-paid.

It looks like it has been delayed a few times. If Kevin Trudeau ends up ponying up more for the early Friday morning timeslot, than it may be once more.
