New Log early AM 10/1/12

Just got another new log! It's been tentative for a while until the invention of streaming...

540-XESURF Tijuana, BCN; poor with SS preacher who sounded like she was begging. At 0621 PDT, it matched 540 and webstream. New #454, 3500w, about 1075 miles. No sign of anyone else this AM on 540!

Sure it was them? I thought that Mexican radio does not allow religious broadcasting, although that could have changed since last time I heard. Of course, I'd have no problem with a change.

Maybe it was not really preaching? Or, maybe a waiver is granted for Mexican stations either on the border, or relaying a U.S. station.

EDIT: I suppose if it was //the Web, it was them. Hmmm

The station is in Tijuana, but is operated by a company in Downey, CA: Zion Multimedia. It's SS religion.

One time I did get XEWA-but that was a few years ago. It matched the W Radio stream...2100+ mi catch.

another great catch. Do you ever sleep? I'm still adding stations on the car radio but need to get an antenna and
more going at home to become competitive with the big boys on AM.
Currently about 280 AM logs on car radio during morning and afternoon commute. Also listen at lunch when it is quiet. FM logs around 200 on fm car radio. Lots of opportunites there. Pioneer Superttuner 3D is great.
 
Yes I do get sleep...

I think I need a recorder during the night-some of the TOH IDs at 2-4AM are interesting...
