Not sunrise, but around 12:05am this morning. Not sure whether it's 10kw day power or 175w night power, but still a great catch nevertheless!
1600 - KIVA Albuquerque, NM; faded up around 2358 PT 10/24 with Coast to Coast over KVRI and KEPN. Faded down but could still hear faint Fox News in the jumble. Finally faded back up at 0005 PT with commercial for the Venturi Realty Group, 505 area code and 'sellmyhomenewmexico.com' website. NEW #745, 10KW (or 175w?) at 1,070 miles! Fantastic catch for a jumbled channel like 1600. Usually there's several stations mixing on this channel.
Good sunrise conditions with KGFX/1060 and 810/KBHB SD both noted; also South Dakota mention on 1380 so KOTA Rapid City. KUYO/830 WY huge. No sign of wanted KKLS/920 or KIMM/1150 both Rapid City and both 5000w. Didn't note the usual North Dakota cast either. 910 has been riddled with RFI this morning, so couldn't try for relog KCJB. They usually show up around this time of year.
