I noticed the new logo for the programming service formerly known as the TV Guide Network (now TVGN) during their programming on Monday, April 15th, specifically during their promotional advertisements and during their regular programs (the last time I saw the previous logo appear stationary during their regular programs was on Sunday, April 14th). I wonder if their new name means anything besides their former name?

TVGN is indeed their new name as CBS bought 50% of the network. The sale (as mentioned in a thread below) will also include same day reruns of The Young & Restless and speculation as til whether or not they will also show next day reruns of Inside Edition, OMG! Insider, Entertainment Tonight, and other shows from the CBS library.

The link below also talks about next week's launch of The Esquire Network (formerly G4), which will be showing 2 awesome shows - A-Team and Airwolf. Esquire will also be borrowing Magnum P.I. from sister network Cozi TV.

Cheap-but-known daytime programming so that they can hype original shows for primetime. They're far from the only network doing that, obviously.
