<a target="_blank" href=http://www.bicoastalmedia.com/>Bicoastal Media</a> recently turned on the juice of recently acquired FCC Auction 37 station 98.3 KPPK, known on the air as "The Peak, The 80s, 90s, and Whatever."
Using a car radio on SE 82nd Ave. from Woodstock Blvd. to Clackamas Town Center between 3:40 PM to 3:55 PM, the signal was noticeably weaker than the local Portland stations, but very listenable (except when stopped at a stoplight with LEDs).
Music heard during the time was Gary Newman "Cars," Rolling Stones (don't know the name, it's the one that goes "please don't leave me" that every classic rock station plays), Don Henley "Dirty Lanudry," and Def Leppard "Rocket."<P ID="signature">______________
If it's the "greatest music ever made," why is it <a target="_blank" href=http://kisn910.com/>relegated to AM</a> or online only?</P>

If an LED stoplight made the station unlistenable...I would be willing to bet it's not that good of a signal as you say lol...and the fine folks that brought us the BOB-FM's might have something to say about that positioning statement.

I should clarify that the station wasn't unlistenable at the stoplight, but the quality wasn't as good. This definitely isn't a station that will come in on a reception-weakling Walkman or a gutless clock radio, but it could be another option for people in their cars or good home stereo setups.<P ID="signature">______________
