WCBS has introduced new graphics which look a lot like sister station KYW's. They also changed their music package to Frank Gari's Enforcer, which is a similar package to their previous one and also used by KYW, and modified their set. <P ID="signature">______________

I like the new background of the city (courtesy of your photos), but I haven't had a chance to actually see or hear the new modifications.

I saw that Good Friday was Jim Ryan's last day at the station. But did they also take Mario Bosquez and Shon Gables off the morning anchor desk? They had a rather unique co-anchorship at the station with the 3 hosts. It also seems like they took Dave Price off the morning weather and Vanessa Alfano off morning traffic. I actually like the 5 of them, they were always lively, funny, and seemed to have a good rapport with each other, etc. I checked the station's website, and Bosquez and Gables are now only reporters, while Price and Alfano aren't listed. It's really a shame if CBS2 made this is a permanent change.

The new CBS 2 graphics look real good. Clear and easy to view, I like them a lot. Seems like every one is putting the time and temp bug under the logo next to the ticker. Just one thing I noticed was on the 5 Day forecast was the Plus 2. NBC has Weather Plus. So maybe CBS 2 may change it to say Jeff's Forecast And 2 Days or Jeff's 7 Day Forecast.

Dave Price left the morning news to be on the CBS Early show only.

Vanessa Alfano went to Channel 5.
The city background looks similar to NBC4.

Thank you Lord! :) I'll have to start watching the traffic on 5 now.

I did have a chance to see CBS2 this morning, and while it wasn't the same team, I thought this new group did a good job. It was funny when Audrey Puente said "we were high yesterday of.." instead of "we had a high yesterday of.." and then Maurice Dubois and Katie Sullivan? all started laughing.

I guess I can get used to this new crew, although I'll miss laughing at Dave Price!
