New Low For Howie Carr !

I think David Scondras is irrelevant to anyone at this point, why bother dragging that sfx back from the dead.

The horn.... ya that is compelling radio.

I will let you in on a little secret, I was a "doorman" at one of the most politically connected bars in Boston, where the Herald pressmen used to come in on their break inhale a couple of drinks, take a six pack to go and go back to print the paper.... and Ray Flynn was a "regular", and I can't ever recall him with a drink let alone drunk. I remember the night he came in after being nominated as Vatican Ambassador, we were all very happy for him.

I have a lot of respect for him and he is the only Democrat I ever donated campaign funds to..and I even had a Ray Flynn for Governor bumper sticker on my car...

Was that Foley's or did the pressmen go to a different bar than the writers?

Howie and Ray Flynn are buddies now or were in the recent past. I remember Ray was on the show criticizing the Democratic party during the 2004 convention. I think I've heard him since.

Wait! What!

Raybo NOT a drinker................. yeah OK

Globe report on him being drunk as a skunk staggering around the North End PieEyed!....KneeWalkin'!.....Back in the 90's 00's.

An ex flatfoot driver of Laybo callin in to H reminiscing about taking to city events ossified.

Ok Pal,............Pour on for me. :)

As I said I never saw him drunk.... I'm not saying he was a friend of Bill W. (no not the former Gov.)

But speaking of Drunk and the Former Governor William Weld, I was at Senator Bulger's home one St. Patrick's Day after the parade for a small gathering, and Bill Weld was fall drown drunk, he fell on the sidewalk out front he was that drunk, slurred speech, incoherent, and assisted by 2 men I assume were MSP was poured into a car. I want to say this was 1992 ..a long time ago, long before cell phone cameras

On his first election night, 1990, Weld was heard very happy and he'd perhaps had a few as he invited partygoers to "rock on with James Montgomery!" in a clip Howie would play.
The GOP had an operative named Ron Kaufman who had a bit of an embarrassing moment behind the wheel; asked about it, Weld said he noticed that Kaufman had been
"nursing an amber-colored liquid"...

Joe Battenfeld in the Herald, the day after Steve Wynn's casino bid was chosen: "Raise a glass of amber-colored liquid: Bill Weld’s 20-year drought is over...."

That was the same year that Pee-Wee the Tank Commander told USAir officials to check Kaufman's luggage for a bomb.

Why do my posts always word wrap like that? I'm not doing it.

Ron Kaufman dumped his first wife to marry Andy Card's sister and thereby established an entry to the Bush administrations regardlless of DWI's.
