New Lows For CNN

One word for CNN, Boring! :D

That explains the ratings. ;)

IMO, CNN is quickly becoming irrelevant. Unless someone comes in and shows some leadership, this ship will sink. Parker/Spitzer is clearly out of step with what works on cable news. Yet, they continue to show tease clips of upcoming interviews, completely ruining the idea that this show is anywhere close to being live. (I remember one night when they went live...the miners in Chile...that is what they need to do more of). Wake up, this is not PBS, guys. I do like their breaking news coverage, and AC360, but that show alone can't save this flailing effort.

How about just going back to doing the NEWS and get rid of all the "shows" like when CNN first started?

CNBC the other night had a show on Ted Turner and how successful his company was and how great CNN was back when it used to be the only cable news channel. CNN went from 1st to now 3rd. Maybe if they took the best of CNN and best of HN they could do something, just a idea.

Then what to do with HN, I have no idea. Don't flip it to sports as NBA on TNT and MLB on TBS does fine and wouldn't be smart taking that away and placing it on a all sports channel. Or would it be a smart idea making HN a sports network?
