New Member from Cambria

Hello from Cambria/San Simeon, CA. My name is Dan. I've been in the media business for over 40 years, mostly in television, mostly in Los Angeles. I owned a low power TV station for about 4 years which, if nothing else, helped me understand how to work with the FCC. I've been operating a Part 15 AM station since 2018 as a means of refining my skills at automation and audio processing in the hopes that one day an LPFM window will open. That day has arrived. Even though we have two commercial FM stations in this area, they are IP-fed from a station cluster in Ridgecrest, CA. So they really aren't local. I'm hoping to correct that with a truly locally-programmed station. I have my nonprofit org. in place and am currently working with RecNET.

Cambria is a beautiful little town, one of the treasures of the Central Coast. Best of luck with your endeavor!
