New Midday Host at Q99-7

Radio Insight is reporting that Laura Dickerson, Music Director and night host at KRBE in Houston, has joined Q99-7 as APD/midday personality. She replaces Yvonne Monet in middays. She will continue to report to Leslie Whittle, who oversees programming for both Cumulus stations.

I'm looking forward to hearing her and am hoping that she is of the high quality that Yvonne Monet was.

I've heard her already... she's pretty good. I like her energy. I do miss the mixshow at 12 noon they used to do.To me, a mixshow takes away from the monotony of the normal playlist and gives it that major market vibe. But I suppose with Louie Diaz now gone that may not ever come back.

Any CHR or Urban that features a mix show at12pm middays and 5pm afternoons is always a win in my book!
