NEW MORNING coming to WPRO-AM

If Matt works out in morning drive...then losing Andrew Gobiel would be one way Cumulu$ could start trimming away. Just about any change on the WPRO Morning Mess would improve the chemistry there. I'm not sure Gobiel would even be missed.

As for replacing Matt's evening show....Cumulu$ could plug in any number of shows off the bird.
 
I may agreee , but, Matt should be allowed to be himself, intelligent, thought provoking, inquisitive, if not, he is just another radio host.
 
Well, if Matt's AM appearance earlier this week is any signal, he'll be moving to mornings. He was fresher, more connected with guests and issues.

There was more "chemistry" between he and Tara than with Andrew, too. Watching on the webcam there was definitely more smiling and chatter during breaks than when Andrew is in studio. They really seemed to enjoy working with each other.

I've had the impression that Tara and Andrew weren't each others first choice for a partner. They are cordial, without spark.

I have a feeling this is where this is going..One less live and local shift.
 
Matt is too good for mornings, what a waste of a good mind and talent.

Please, I hope he is not relegated to insipid Hollywood bull like on Saturdays and on the morning show.

Yes...out of all the hosts, I think Matt has cultivated the most hardcore listeners. I'd say put York in the mornings with Tara, but then everyone would be put back to sleep as soon as they woke up.

That's harsh I know..but I find myself listening to Dans show for 10-20 minutes, then realizing I have no idea who he has on as a guest or what they are talking about, and caring about neither and shutting it off.

Cornetta might have been good in the AM, he's pretty spastic...but he's also pretty laid off apparently.

Yorke was doing mornings as a fill in during the Howie Carr debacle on WTKK?remember on top of doing WPRO
