new morning show for KDKB

The lack of response to this answers that question

Haha! :D

Actually, I blame the demographics of the Phoenix board. ;)

Comments on KDKB morning show-related stories on PhoenixAirchecks.com will show dozens and dozens of listener opinions.

Dozens and dozens of listeners, eh? Wasn't that KDKB's total cume in the May ratings? ;)

Hahahaha ;D ;D

Being under the age of 30, Nurse Jeff and I just can't relate to all that old music played on KDKB!

I would have to say I find it funny how there is still an awful lot of am talk on this board. I guess that tells the average age of the folks here. I just know anytime now we will hear KFYI 95-5. I will miss the Coyote but I have that covered with XM ;-)

Well, we're not all "you younger posters" (apologies to KLL :)).

Besides, the AM band has a unique quirkiness to it, especially on some of
the ancientally-modulated stations and formats in the Phoenix market.

The FM side can be so bland and predictable sometimes. How often do we
hear a "that '70s D'backs double play block party playlist weekend"? ;D

New KDKB PD:

Phoenix rocker KDKB hires Paul Marshall as PD
Sandusky’s Rocker KDKB (93.3) has a new PD. Paul Marshall joins from Kansas City, where he was MD/pm driver for similarly formatted KQRC “98.9 The Rock.” He replaces Steve King, who was with KDKB for 2-½ years. King can be reached at [email protected]. Marshall starts his new gig on Wednesday, July 7.

If nothing else, Neanderpaul will make this board a little bit more lively than the same old talk radio threads. I listened to his show back in Boston, a solid DJ that played some very non-KDKB music. I have no idea what he will do with a PD position at KDKB.
