Is "Better Connecticut" the show's actual name? If so, that sounds like a low budget, local show from around 1963. Definitely not a good sign.
 
Actually it is modeled from a successful show at a Meredith owned station out west, (Meredith owns ch 3), they are doing what Group W did with "Evening Magazine" back in the 70's
 
Actually, the local portion with Scot and Kara is rather small compared to the national segments. There was only one or two local segments. I was kind of disappointed, but I knew that Better TV was incorporated with the show. I am sick of hearing about how to spice up your love life (and this ep. had that as a national segment).
