With the Howard Stern show gone from the local dial it will be interesting to hear what other shows may do to court his audience who didn't go to uh-uh-uh.
Since Howard is off until next week, I would guess many of his listeners will be curious enough to sample David Lee Roth Tuesday. Things to listen for - will the breaks be timed now to a 'clock' with more breaks with less spots, will John Russell still do the news breaks exactly the same as before, will there be as many local sponsors, will Roth cut local commercials, can we assume any local ads with Howard's voice are history, will the show end at 10 am?
If you have access to streaming radio during the day, it would be interesting to read some posts tomorrow by people who can listen to both Ross on YSP and Adam Carolla via KLSX's website. Which show will seem more likely to attract the longtime Stern audience if either? It would seem that Carolla would be better prepared with a broadcasting background, but it will be interesting.
