TRUMPER Rhythmic AC KMVA (MOVIN 97.5)/PHOENIX names BOB LEWIS as PD. Before joining MOVIN 97.5, LEWIS served for two years as PD of EMMIS' KDHT and KBPA/AUSTIN, with previous stops in BAKERSFIELD and RIVERSIDE among others.
In announcing the appointment, Pres./GM JEFF TRUMPER stated, "MOVIN is an exciting new format with potential to generate enthusiastic listener support and loyalty. BOB has an excellent track record programming and developing promotionally oriented contemporary stations into market leading positions, and I’m confident he will have the same success here in PHOENIX. We are looking forward to great things from him."
LEWIS added, "I am thrilled to be joining the MOVIN 97.5 team in PHOENIX. There aren’t many owner/operators like JEFF TRUMPER in this business and I'm fortunate to be working with him. Rhythm radio has been my passion for nearly 15 years, and I look forward to building on the great foundation ALAN BURNS and JEFF JOHNSON have created with MOVIN."
