I agree. They're all pretty good songs. But most of them won't likely go anywhere on CHR because they're not hip hop or are "Too Hot AC for CHR".

the Switchfoot song has a good shot at at least Top-40, same goes for Nickelback, Ryan Cabrera and 3 Doors Down. Ohio (Come Back To Texas) is a great song and made it to the Top-40 but its already falling out.

for sure big on Hot AC. If you can find a non rhythmic leaning CHR somewhere or a Hot AC leaning one like Star 94, you'll probably hear them at least overnight.

I like their music and plan to get the album when it comes out. CHR may get medium rotation but maybe not as big as MTL and DYTM.

I understand that songs are "tested overnight" but since these songs will do better on AC stations wouldn't we want to play them during office hours to attract our older listeners and then play more urban and rock tracks overnight to attract our night time audience, the younger ppl/kids. Younger ppl and kids are not gonna wanna hear these songs, but our older audience woudl want 2, so them play them in the day where ppl will like them and play at night what ppl will like.

The way radio works sometimes is backwards
