What are some of the most recent adds on Hot AC? ...and what do you think should be next?

There are some songs like Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" that are racing up the Top-40. Kesha also has a new song "Take It Off." Do you think these songs should hit the Hot AC airwaves?

Personally, I enjoy hearing the new single "Animal" by Neon Trees, and Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" on Hot AC. I don't like it that some songs (such as Cooler Than Me) have been on Top-40 stations for a few weeks before the Hot AC stations. I understand that adult charts move slower, but I think it sounds out of place for Hot AC stations to introduce such a song as "brand new" while the other station in town is coming off of the song...Your opinion?
 
I really like "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry. It has a great sound to it, but in Grand Rapids I don't believe it's made it to the Hot AC station yet. I question whether it will or not because I'd say it leans more CHR than Hot AC. Katy Perry is one of those artists where I'm not sure which format she really sounds best on: CHR or Hot AC (or mainstream AC for that matter). I do believe I've heard "Hot and Cold" on the mainstream/fresh AC station (Clear Channel's WOOD- 105.7 FM). Maybe "Teenage Dream" will make it there as well. Who knows. My only hesitation is that a song with the word "teenage" in the title might not make it too far in the Hot AC or mainstream AC formats.

"Cooler Than Me" sounds much more CHR than Hot AC.

Yes... I've often heard mainstream or Hot AC stations introduce a song as "brand new" when it's only new to that station or to the AC format - when it really has been on CHR for months. That has always annoyed the heck out of me.
 
I have "Teenage Dream" in Medium rotation (+-25 spins)...new Taylor Swift "Mine" is gonna be huge! Get ready for a fall/winter full of the new album.
