New National Network and Massive Virtual Channel Switch Coming in October 2016

Updates - TV Azteca has secured the use of virtual channel 1 for its Azteca Trece network, so XHAQ-TDT Mexicali BCN and XHFA-TDT Nogales SON will have Azteca Trece programming on 1.1 and Proyecto 40 programming on 1.2 effective Oct. 25, which is the date that Azteca has announced for its virtual channel switch. XHNOA-TDT Nogales SON will switch to 7.1 on the same day. XHEXT-TDT Mexicali BCN will remain on 20.1, as 7.1 is already taken by Entravision station and Univision affiliate KVYE-DT.

XHCTME-TDT Mexicali BCN will launch tomorrow night on virtual channel 18.1, RF 17.

XHNSS-TDT Nogales SON, on RF channel 31, will switch from virtual channel 7.x to virtual channel 8.x sometime between Oct. 20 and Oct. 27, most likely before Oct. 25, when Azteca makes its move. I wonder what this will do to their SieteNogales branding? OchoNogales?

Updates - The IFT assigned Imagen stations in the border region the national virtual channel of 3.1 instead of 18.1 as had been planned, meaning that use of virtual channel 3 was successfully coordinated in border regions with the United States.

The October 2016 Arizona TV Station Update details those stations whose signal reaches locations in Arizona.

They at least avoided branding as channel 31, which was their first assignment. 8 would have been the lowest available local number as 4 is out and 6 is being hogged for a future national network (basically, in the event IFT-6 turns up a new national network; if not, I expect Mexico will get a bunch of new channel 6s).

6 won't be available in Nogales because of KUAT.

Also, IFT-6 has no stations available in Nogales, if memory serves; however RF channel 15 is designated for Agua Prieta - Cananea. Still, as Trip has aptly pointed out, if the station goes to a national network, virtual channel 6 would not be available due to KUAT. RF channel 15 would be a problem in Cananea anyway, due to a complementary station of XHFA-TDT Nogales already broadcasting on channel 15 there. Virtual channel 15 would not be available in Agua Prieta, as XHAPS-TDT is already using virtual channel 15 as part of the regional Telemax network.

I assuming that the current (Jan. 2020) national Mexican channels are:
IFT-1 Azteca Uno (TV Azteca)
IFT-2 Canal de Las Estrellas (Televisa)
IFT-3 Imagen TV
IFT-4 Televisa Regional/Local Tv
IFT-5 Canal 5 (Televisa)
IFT-6 Multimedios
IFT-7 Azteca 7 (TV Azteca)
IFT-8 (Blank) / Televisa secondary Regional
IFT-9 Nu9ve (Televisa)
IFT-11 OnceTv
IFT-12 (Blank)
IFT13 (Blank)

Is this correct?
