88.7 is going to Calvary Chapel of Knoxville for a station in Oak Ridge. The 89.1 applications are considered mutually exclusive so nobody will get 89.1.

Usually the identity of the winner of one of these non-commercial groups shows up a few days after or before the losers are listed.

The FCC went through the technical proposals. Four of the applicants didn't claim a "fair distribution of service" preference -- since six did, these four were eliminated from consideration.

Of the remaining six, Oak Ridge and Oliver Springs claimed they'd provide service to more than 5,000 more people than any of the rest.

Finally, the Oak Ridge applicant proposed to reach about 500 more square kilometers of territory, and about 40,000 more people.
