FM100 is promoting that Garner Miller starts on the night show tonight. Kind of surprising, dontcha think? I've heard Linda Williams from TV5 doing traffic in the morning the last couple of days, has the relationship between radio & TV improved in that building?

there's nothing wrong with the relations in this building... what messed up rumors are you believing...?

cant wait to hear this Garner show... that girl has SOO much energy.

I have never really spent tons of time listening to 1 hunerd but I knew the Toni St. James spot would be a hard fill... She had a great presence on air. I think Garner will do just as well.. You can usually hear her smile throught the air...

Can't help but shake your head over Garner getting the night gig at 100. I could say more, but why be tacky?

The relationship between WMC radio and WMC TV is good. 790 uses TV5 weather; actually Tim Van Horn has been doing some guest spots here lately on mornings while that show wanders about aimlessly in search of a direction. With Curly's exit, Jeff Brightwell is a fresh addition, to say the least. The PD should quit playing morning host and give Jeff the show.

100 used a couple of TV5 reporters the last time Karen Perrin was on maternity leave.

Tim's a great guy and good radio people.
He worked for me at VIM years ago

Has nothing to do with relationships. Traffic for both radio & TV comes from Metro.

Garner will do well. She worked very hard here and will do very well there.

I don't buy it, but that may be biased by my personal opinion that she sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard. Lest you think bad of me for saying that, I was darn good myself on formatics and board work when I was on the air, but chose to go into the tech side because my voice left something to be desired as well.

Does the GM take any active role or interest in the AM side or is 790 the red-headed stepchild of the building? I could've sworn I heard a promo for Dennis and Curly last week. Hasn't he been gone for a month or two?

I would assume imaging and promos were the duties of the PD. Isn't Dennis the PD? Maybe he doesn't realize Curly is not on with him anymore.

He was working for free?

As for insurance, does Infinity normally give insurance to parttime employees?
