i have been listening to Q105's 70s weekends all summer as i work around the house or in the yard - i love the casey kasem replays - and while they still play way too many tired elton john, billy joel and donna summer tunes for my tastes, i love the old lost music i haven't heard on the radio in years...
in the past few weekends i have heard such nuggets as - killer queen, my best friend by queen; beach baby - first class; judy mae - boomer castleman; hey you -bto; third time lucky - foghat; thank you for being a friend - andrew gold; gold -john stewart and two of elton john's lesser hits - lucy in the sky and pinball wizard.
the weekend jocks are actually live and sound like they are playing phone-in requests like marvelous marvin does during the weekdays......it's taking me back to my high school days!~!!!! i love it......
