New (Old) Jocks

I have to give Ted and AJ credit for the two latest additions at GMR. Jackie Flick sounds great on the air today and it is great to see Reggie is coming back.

McCall always sounds great plus the other solid syndicated shows. I wish the best for the GMR crew.

It's too bad that it would be too big of a paycut to come home and do what I enjoy the most.

This is, of course, an excellent line-up on GMR at present.
But why do you not think that you can't contribute due to your remote location?
Back in the "day," we were able to "phone feed" programs. We phone fed public interest programs, races, remote commercial events, and other sporting events. With a phone, lots of wires, and prayers and supplications to Dubyah, the god of radio miracles.
In this internet age, could you not "phone feed" your airshift to GMR on a remote basis?
You know this could happen.

I thought I read where Ted posted that Reggie is gonna handle the at work network and the Flashback lunch. Does that mean McCall has left the building, or is he moving to a new shift?

Also, on a lighter note....I think the idea of bringing back talent of old like myself, Dave, Jackie Flick and the likes is a great idea...In this day of "Global Warming" and such....all the recycling we can do is good for the environment ;D

Stevo!

Dave is 10 to noon. He has that full time job too. I agree with you, its nice to get seasoned talent. Its nice to be working with such nice people too. Let us know what you think about the the changes and the on air stuff. AJ is doing a nice job programing the station....and programming the website too. Both sound well programmed!

I always thought Jackie Flick sounded great. I am sure any one of us in this market would have been happy to have landed her to be on-staff. Now how bout putting that voice to work in some production? Hardly anyone in this market has access to a female voice for production. Use that to your advantage.

I am sure AJ is doing quite well now that your meddlesome "consultant" has stepped aside :) All is well with me and nothing personal, but I just don't listen that often anymore. Got my ear cocked to B94.5. After all, that is where I ended up hanging my hat. (But I do like the new Jingle Package Ted)

Let's get together sometime in the near future.
