New opening at Nexstar

When the permission settings are fixed, I hope to be Tom Carten again. Till that time happens, I'm more formal with a new account. Here's the latest from Channel 50. Notice that tv experience "is a plus."* * * * *Nexstar Broadcasting currently has an opening in the Production Department as follows:Job Title: Master Control Operator (part-time)Job Description: Master control is the main control center for airing television broadcasts. Every audio and video source in the TV station from tape machines to CBS and NBC networks can be placed "on the air" from here. The master control operator, by following the station's programming log, places the appropriate programs and commercials on the air. The MCO also notes and corrects all log errors, preventing incorrect or dated program material to be aired. Other primary duties include monitoring the off-air signal to maintain legal operation, and making adjustments to audio and video levels. MCO's also tune in all incoming satellite and terrestial microwave feeds, dub commercials and programs, and assist the production department. Experience/Skills necessary: Television production experience a plus.
