NEW ORLEANS LIKES BOUNCE TV

Too bad the people in the market east of them (Biloxi) disagrees. Ever since WLOX replaced ThisTV with Bounce TV, there's been nothing but complaining from viewers on their Facebook page about how if there was a "white" entertainment channel, it would be called racist and there aren't any good shows on the channel, which I'm starting to disagree as it's more movie heavy, with good movies (And I'm white). NOLA is lucky to have MeTV, AntennaTV, and BounceTV in the same market.

This guy only has great things to say about Bounce..........like a mother protecting her child.

I'm sure he's not going to say, "We think this is the sorriest excuse for a sub channel. 24/7
Bozo would be an improvement. We regret the day we added this lousy crap. What was I
thinking? The weather radar was better".

WVUE's general manager actually had the numbers to prove Bounce's performance locally, and his statements read much more toward 'a mother bragging on her honor student' than positive spin on bad numbers.

If you don't like the channel, fine. Don't waste everyone else's time with false narratives, though.

I can't see why WLOX would have dumped This for Bounce. One of its affiliated stations WLBT in Jackson, MS has both This and Bounce. The quality of Bounce looks like low bitrate which looks pixilated during action scenes, but This and the main NBC channel look ok. WLOX could have offered a lower quality Bounce and left "This" alone. I've seen a few good movies on Bounce that I haven't seen in a while, but "This" has a better selection.

As I was channel surfing Tuesday, Bounce had no sound. The picture was split into 4 squares.
The top left had color bars. The bottom left had the program. The other 2 squares were black/blank.

WLOX was going to replace the WLOX 24/7 weather channel with Bounce TV and still have ThisTV but I assume they didn't want to have complaints of not having a weather channel. But on the other hand I'm sure they could have 3 sub channels if they wanted to ???

This TV & MeTV owner, Weigel Broadcasting signed an affiliation agreement for Bounce in Chicago & Milwaukee, & has Bounce on WBME 49.2 in Milwaukee (station licensed to Racine) on a full power signal, while in Chicago, they chose to place Bounce on WWME-LD 23.2, a low power station. So except for cable, it's not available in all of Chicagoland. I've watched it here & there, & for now, it's ok. Programming needs to improve. Also on Bounce's end, they need to fix their technical issues, since their network pixelates from time to time, while the rest of WWME-LD looks fine. Had Fox signed the affiliation agreement first for Chicago, Bounce would have been on a full market signal (WFLD or WPWR-TV). Fox did sign an affiliation agreement for New York on WWOR & KCOP Los Angeles.
