New Orleans Summer Book

Any thoughts on the big drops at WRNO (6.7-5.1) and WWL (7.2-6.6)? I know it's 12+ but still...

Nice jumps for WYLD and WNOE and a rebound for WTIX.

WIST's lowest 12+ in years (.4) and still no WGSO.

When are they going to pull the plug on 92.3?

As you said, you quoted 12+.

92.3's loss this book was under 24...25+ has been up over the last four books.

A thought on the loss of audience for the talk stations....after months of the same old topics....health care and the Obama debacle...talk radio has become booooorrrrriing. The Saints should help WWL in the Fall book. But, until talk radio in general realizes that listeners are tiring of the same o same o.....regular talk listeners will continue to look elsewhere. Oh, they won't abandon talk, but will listen less.

How come there isn't a hot talk, "male-oriented" station in New Orleans? You know like what KLSX used to be in L.A....

Probably because PPM is on its way to the market.

[/quote]With proper marketing and good talent, the station could get a decent 2.3...why would PPM come to New Orleans anyway?
