New Party Hits 104.9 in St. Louis

It is streaming on iheartradio.com. It's under The Brew old stream. Iheartradio hasn't updated the app. Majic is streaming but with Wild's logo

Go to the website and it will tell you whats being played. It sounds just like its sister stations in other markets like KYLD and KXJM.

I did, but I didn't see any dance songs listed...so is it "heavy" leaning dance as the OP put it or no?

It's just your typical CC Rhythmic station like the others. I listen to them on my iphone I don't live in the market. I would say go to yes.com but the website is not working.

Yes.com works, but they just changed the way it operates. They don't keep a full list of last played tracks anymore. You must stay on yes.com under the station you wish to track if you want to see the last played songs and it will start tracking songs from a certain station the moment you enter in that stations call letters. If you're lucky, it may even have about three to five previously played songs already tracked when you log in. But much of the time it will only have the song currently playing and will start adding more from there. If you have time, you could keep it open for about an hour or more and it will track all the songs that played on the station during that time.....

But switch to another station or close the page or refresh and you will have to start it all over from scratch.

Not as "Heavy" but it does plays the same Rhythmic Dance/Pop hits as KYLD and KXJM. One has to wonder if Clear Channel is planning to expand the "WiLD" brand to other markets.

Sounds the same as siter station KSLZ,,, Not the right direction at all.... Me thiks they launched it to keep Y98 fro going more CHR.... I dont see any Dance hits here aside from what any other CHR Rhythmic plays..... Plus the 104.9 signal sucks

Ok, so this is how yes dot com works now. It still tracks and records last played songs in the "Chat" section. However, it only tracks an hour's worth of songs before refreshing and starting over with the songs played in the following hour. In other words, if you log in to yes dot com at 1:10, it will show whatever songs played between 1:00 and 1:10. If you log in at 1:53, it will show the songs from 1:00 through 1:53. But if you log in at 2:00, it will not show anything until about 2:03 or something whenever the first song of that hour is played. SO, if you REALLY want to see what a station is playing, check around 45 to 55 minutes after the hour and you'll get a good list of what played for that hour.

If you miss it or wait until 5 or 10 minutes after the hour and you're screwed (unless you have time to sit there and watch songs accumulate over the hour. Leave yes dot com on all day and (I think) you may get what was played all day (as long as your computer doesn't restart or refresh or time out on its own).

I'm just glad that both TuneIn and Yes dot com worked its best during the days when I was such a radio fanatic freak that all I did all day was monitor hits and make music. Quite a bit has changed for me since then so the yes dot com changes don't bother me too much.

Seems like all the CBS or ClearChannel stations are only showing an hour's worth of music that refreshes at the top of every hour. Some other stations are refreshing at 50 minutes after the hour (hence why it may seem like it's going back into previous hours). Certain stations, like KNRJ, are still not showing at all. The "Top Songs" are showing what the station's "Top Songs" were a few months ago. However, the "Song Log" seems to have been fixed.

Listened to this station yesterday for a good couple hours online. The station has live DJ's now and I must say the format has tweeked to play more dance rhythmic top 40 than the Wild in San Antonio and Atlanta. Sounds pretty good. The station also bills itself "PARTY HITS" - not "____________party station".
Overall, I think this is the closest to a commercial dance top 40 hits station that is being played in the US right now.

I looked at their top 60 songs on their website and it looks like a straight forward rhythmic leaning CHR to me. I don't see a single dance track in the top 60 or any EDM artists represented- unless they're playing remixes of some of those songs.

Has anyone caught any mix shows on the station yet?

CC seems to be leaning this station to more dance hits. Never know with CC will do after the Evolution flip in Boston.

Today the station played/added:

Calvin Harris - Sweet Nothing ft. Florence Welch
Paul van Dyk - I Don't Deserve You

The format seems to be transitioning to all party hits/dance hits. Bring it on!

Their website is also featuring a link to Iheart Radio Evolution as of today.
