I thought PAX is going 24 hours of informercials. If what you say is true it would be real nice to see some classic shows. TVland is straying away from that. Also you list movies alot. Is this Classic Movies (1940's - 1970's) or newer movies (1980's - present)?

See I'd like that schedule so it'll never happen

It looks like if this were to become PAX's new lineup, their daytime programming would consist of public-domain episodes of '50s TV shows as well as PD movies.

If this is true, it sounds nice. If not and they do go all infomercials - hopefully NBC will buy WHPX in Hartford and flip it to Telemundo.
______________

I wonder why Dirty Rotten Cheaters is being shown a lot on the weekends and in one place after Joel Osteen. What's the big deal about Dirty Rotten Cheaters??

I hope that the poster is right about PAX showing reruns of I Married Joan,Ozzie and Harriet, and The Beverly Hillbillies. And I do hope that they are NOT the Public Domain episodes.

I'm shocked that Supermarket Sweep, Balderdash, and Hollywood Showdown aren't on this schedule, personally. If they're going to play one of their no-budget cancelled game shows to death, why not all of them? Odd.

Given the absolute dirt-cheapness of this schedule (and it's similarity to all those LPs who rely on those shows), I'm guessing they are. So what, a season or two of each, basically?

Who predicted this development on this board? If it is true and the predictor is not the same person who posted that schedule on the other board, I'd say someone ought to start picking lotto numbers. :)

On that account, chances are the new schedule would apply to KCTU only, since that's a locally-owned station, not one owned by Pax.

In other words, there's still a chance we'll see infomercials 24/7 on Pax soon.

That could happen if they simulcast WRDM LP-13. ZGS Broadcasting holds the affilliation rights.

I do too. If they DO offer this schedule of old classic TV shows, they will gain me as a viewer.

Then how do you explain the Pax programming that appears in prime time on the posted schedule? Or the addition of a "Universal Movie" (which sounds like it is being provided by NBC Universal)?

There is something happening here, even if we aren't sure what.

As I stated on a earlier post I recieve the national PAX feed on my cable not the local station. PAX has been pretty much running the schedule that Stitch had posted for at least a couple months. When PAX is running Ozzie & Harriet or The Beverly Hillbillies the local PAX station (I checked it with a TV on an antenna) is running informercials. The quality of the films of those shows are very poor. I do notice that the local PAX station picks up Bonanza at 5:00 pm eastern.

For what it's worth I never would have noticed if it wasn't posted here. I have never watched PAX but if they do start running the stuff TV Land doesn't, I'll tune in more often. My Little Margie and I Married Joan can go, though. Maybe replaced by Burns & Allen and Jack Benny.

There is so much 50,60,70's shows that havn't been seen in many many years. Since TVLand is getting out of the classic show thing and going with original and 80's 90's shows, there is a need for this type of programming.

Weird. I checked the national Pax feed schedule (http://www.pax.tv/schedule/

Spanish Programming

NBC bought channel 60 in the Boston Market (Manchester, NH to be exact) and it simulcasts channel 32 from Boston, which is the ZGS owned Telemundo Station. So I see no problem with 26/13. Too bad Telemundo doesn't have 2 OTA networks like Univision does. Telemundo's 2nd network MUN2 is only on cable and satellite, not OTA Stations, like Univision's 3rd Network Telefutura. The other Univision Network Galavision is only on cable and satellite.

The cable companies in Connecticut that carry Univision usd to carry the national Univision feed instead of W47AD. W47AD was a Univision owned simulcast of WXTV out of NYC. Their tower was in Glastonbury. When Telefutra launched 9 months after Entravision bought Channel 18 and flipped it to Univision Channel 47 became the Telefutra affilite. Entravision bought channel 47 and it became WUTH-CA.

To complicate matters even more although they are seperate companies Univision and Entravision are somehow related to one another.

Some stations owned by Entravision:
18 WUVN Hartford Univision
27 WUNI Boston Univision
43 WHTX-LP Springfield (simulcasts WUVN)
47 WUTH-CA Hartford Telefutura
47 WMDO-CA Washington DC Univision

Some stations Univision:
41 WXTV New York City Univision
67 WFTY Smithtown, Long Isalnd (simulcats WFTU)
68 WFTU New York City Telefutra
66 WUTF Boston, MA Telefutra
14 WFDC Wahinton DC Telefutura
65 WUVP Philly Univision
28 WFPV-CA Philly Telefutura

Now here's what's weird. In Hartford Univision moved from LowPower Channel 47 to Channel 18, which is a regular station. Channel 47 became Telefutura. Different owners originally.

In Philly Univision moved from lowpower Channel 28 to Channel 65, which is a regular station. Channel 28 became Telefutura. Both owned by Univision.

In DC Univision stayed on LowPower Channel 30 (WMDO-CA has since moved to 47) and the regular station Channel 14 became Telefutura. Different Owners.
______________

There's also Tampa Bay -- WVEA ch.62, the Univision affiliate, is an Entrevision station, while Univision themselves owns WFTT ch.50 (which Univision got as part of the USA deal). Both stations originate from ch.62's studios in Tampa.
