COX RADIO Top 40 WAPE/JACKSONVILLE has named TIM CLARKE their new Program Director, effective MARCH 2nd. CLARKE served as the Music Director at COX Top 40 WBLI/LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK prior to this new position.

"TIM is one of the rising new stars in Top 40 programming," said VP/GM DAVID ISREAL. "During his time at WBLI, he developed a keen sense of the needs of the target audience and how to address their modern lifestyle. TIM is part of the Top 40 community and his sense of programming and strategic background makes him the ideal person to lead WAPE."

Knowing him personally, I'll tell you he is an amazing young talent. He's been a great MD and talent at WBLI in Long Island and built great relationships throughout the industry... luckily for him, 'APE has a fantastic heritage and a great staff... so needless to say he'll be a perfect addition to help bring it all together.

Oh. And I hate him for getting all the good weather now.
 
Tim is a young man way beyond his years. He is constantly running the halls of WBLI getting up to date info for the jocks, and updates his interesting blogs on a regular basis. It takes a big person to pick up their entire life, leave co-workers, friends, family and move to another part of the country. This is a great move professionally for Tiim
