The offer is out.
The hint was made.
The posts keep getting censored.

Is it someone from LA?
Someone with a corner office in Burbank?

Yeah, what is up with the unnecessary censorship? These posts are not hurting anyone and, as far as I can tell, do not violate "The Rules".

"Mr. Moderator, Tear down this wall!"

The posts were removed because they were made in a frivolous manner that did not convey any degree of seriousness.

Apparently you have now learned not to do that, as this latest post does convey seriousness.
______________

I have posted my explanation. If you don't like it, I can always invoke Rule #6.

Let's make it clear once and for all, guys. The management is not going to "fire" me because I use my judgment about deleting posts. They will, however, ban people who constantly question my (or any moderator's) actions in public.

Is there a no sense of humor rule? Or is that up to certain folks.
Seems to be the same reason some morning shows sound so bad.

I won't be frivolous, nor humorous anymore.
I've learned.
In any event, I tried to get some major information out in
an entertaining way. No need to repeat it with seriousness.

Watch out Jon Stewart.

On another note.....Has anyone ever had one of those really bad, overbearing,
bosses that "just don't get it"? They make you read the liners....until the station is unlistenable. Need to control everything that is said, thought of or done. Those are baaad programmers.

Don't count on it. Mr. Moderator, please close this thread...

Sarcasm is the best way to show a lack of respect. I should know, I use it precisely for that purpose.

That said, I don't force you to read my posts or anyone else's, but I do have an obligation (to the owners of this site, which they make available to you free of charge, in exchange for you following their rules) to keep the board free of trash.

The deleted posts were so obtuse in their frivolity that you couldn't tell what the poster was trying to convey, and were phrased in a way that could have been construed as racially offensive.

Now, stop questioning moderator decisions, or you know what the owners will do.
______________
