NEW PD AT THE BEAR HAS TOUGH ROW TO HOE

I am very worried about my buddy Marshall Stewart.

Just started last week as the new PD of the Bear, only to find out one of the key players who hired him is o-u-t. It was in the trades last night that Alan Furst (good guy!) is out, and John Sebastian will be supervising as VP/Country from Nashville.

The irony is that Marshall, Furst, and the new GM at the Bear were eagerly looking at "fixing" a "broken" station. Now, the architect of the "Bear" will be overseeing it, and doubtful he feels the need to "fix" what he created.
After all, it was Sebastian, as local PD, who deemed K93 a dinosaur and blew it up in favor of the "bear". A move that some of the insiders in Lexington felt was way off the mark.

This should be interesting. Marshall, just follow the game plan and you should be okay, buddy.

I would do a lot of praying, not to mention keep a fresh resume and tape handy

If I were marshall I would be posting my resume. the bull has a lot of tools and staff. They also have one of the most aggressive promotion machines I have ever seen. They are constantly out thinking, out promoting and out maneuvering the bear. It seems clear channel (at least in lexington) has it together.
