New PD at the Fish

Kevin Avery relinquished his PD duties after more than eight years at the Fish for a guy from Knoxville named Mike Blakemore. Avery continues in mornings. Not sure if Blakemore will be taking an on-air role at any point. He was doing mornings for the Breakfast Brunch at Love 89, a nonprofit Christian station in Knoxville.

Maybe it's just me but I've noticed that I'm hearing a lot more music variety on the Fish than I have in the past. Are the Salem "suits" loosening up a bit?
