PDs aren't brought in to make format change decisions, that is done on the corporate level. Besides Kiss is the only CHR in Pittsburgh and they are doing well, there is no way they would flip formats! I wouldn't expect them to tweak more mainstream either, the rhythmic lean has been working well for them.

You just hit the nail on the head. As the ONLY CHR station in town, they automatically win the #1 CHR Slot. It's easy to win a race when there are no other contestants in the race.
And you're right about the tweaking. One of those "tweaks" might be to do some focus group testing to see if they can continue to win even if they reduce their payroll for airstaff.
