Changes in PDs often mean changes - possibly big changes - in the on-air product. WURD has been criticized for sometimes militant or anti-White programming. Much of the station's schedule has been in the hands of Black activist groups. It will be interesting to see if the station takes a higher road - and a more commercial road. In recent Arbitron books, WURD has not registered, although it did show up in the Fall book with a low fractional share and dropped off again in the recent Winter book.
