Collins Named PD At WTVN-A And WTPG-A/Columbus, OH
Former WGST-A/ATLANTA PD BRUCE COLLINS stays within the CLEAR CHANNEL family as PD at Talk WTVN-A and WTPG-A/COLUMBUS, OH effective FRIDAY (10/21), replacing STEVE KONRAD, who left earlier this year to rejoin HUBBARD Talk KSTP-A/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS. COLLINS programmed KTOK-A/OKLAHOMA CITY and WLAC-A/NASHVILLE before WGST.
 
Don't expect a whole lot from this guy. WGST has been in the dumper for years thanks to the "Do Nothing" attitude that was present with the CC/Atlanta stations by Collins and the Keystone Cops (Pat McDonnell, Marc Chase, Tim Dukes). In Nashville, he used the audio of one of the local TV news programs as WLAC's morning drivetime program.
